Nevertheless,
the road to movie stardom did not occur as a result of his instructional
videotapes. Master D.J. Kim’s
first acting role occurred after some persuasion from his good
friend, Grandmaster Ki Yung Choi.
Grandmaster Choi asked Grand Master D.J. Kim to co-star with him
and appear along side Master Sang Kim
of Texas in the movie “Drawn to Kill” (See the October
1996 issue of Tae Kwon Do Times for more details about that movie).
His charismatic screen presence and the recognition of his martial

by David Kim of Glory Productions Inc.
